Bath systems manufacturer Hydro System has expanded its collection of freestanding whirlpool tubs with the addition of the Picasso.
Part of the Designer Collection, Picasso features a fully integrated whirlpool system concealed within the skirt and a flush access panel located behind the ergonomic backrest, “making it visually unobtrusive without interruption of the tub’s sculptural silhouette,” the company says.
“Unlike other freestanding whirlpool tubs on the market, which often appear bulky, rely on oversized decks, or compromise bathing well depth to accommodate equipment, the Picasso cleverly conceals a self-contained hydrotherapy system within a sleek, sculptural form,” says Ashley Steinhardt, Hydro Systems’ vice president of sales. “It offers our clients the best of both worlds: a true hydrotherapy experience without giving up the look people expect from a freestanding tub. Aesthetically, it’s our most elegant seamless whirlpool tub yet.”

In addition to Picasso, the Designer Collection also includes the Jacqueline and Nina–all available with integrated Whirlpool systems. Previously, the company says, Picasso could only be ordered as an air tub, with the blower remotely located.
Designers and clients have the option of adding Thermal Air or a combination system, allowing users to further customize their bathroom setup. The company offers hydro therapy options for integration, as well cold plunge, hydro indulge or hydro fusion. All of the company’ products are made in America.
