Kohler says its newly launched Essential Ultrabright Lighted Mirror provides three times brighter task lighting than standard products available on the market.
The product features a unique LED design that directs light to the user and provides brighter task lighting and its innovative, memory-control lighting frames the user in bright, shadowless light that is ideal for applying makeup, shaving and caring for skin, the brand says.
Kohler says the product draws on simplicity in design to complement an array of
bathroom spaces from modern to transitional to traditional.

Here is a list of special features that’s included in the product:
• Four task-matched levels of lighting to deliver the ideal brightness for creating a flawless look–a night light that provides just enough light for finding your way at night; a normal light to suit most of the tasks comprising your daily routine; a bright light for greater visibility for flawless makeup application; and a boost light that delivers the ideal level of brightness for detailed
tasks.
• Ability to toggle easily from nightlight, normal, bright and boost level adjustments.
• An integrated advanced defogger keeps the view free of humidity and moisture when the lights are in use.
• With nearly perfect color accuracy–warm to cool–Essential Ultrabright reflects true likeness.
• A soft, diffuse night light that allows for safe movement without bright lights disrupting sleep rhythm.
• Brightness control allows for four settings to be adjusted at the mirror with external switch (10, 250, 500, 800 lux)
• Minimum 90 CRI (color rendering index) lets you see yourself in the truest light for makeup application, grooming, and skin care
• Integrated LED bulbs have an estimated life expectancy of 59,000 hours
• A variety of installation options–from horizontal to vertical and hardwired to plugged-in–allow for a customized space. A GFCI circuit and non-dimmable switch are required for installation.

The mirror has easy-to-access controls that remain out of sight for a clean, sophisticated effect, and brightness level controls are conveniently hidden at the base, keeping the surface free of fingerprints. Kohler says the mirror is hardwired, which allows customers to use a standard wall switch, if they so choose. Moreover, once a brightness level has been selected, Essential Ultrabright returns to it each time the mirror is switched on.
