Italian lighting brand Lodes has redesigned its A-Tube collection with the addition of the A-Tube Nano, a slender, minimalist fixture that creates maximum drama in a space.
Thin as a pin, the fixture’s strength lies in its refinement and functionality, the company says. Measuring a slim 2 centimeters in diameter, each aluminum piece features a small transparent methacrylate diffuser that houses an LED module inside, which makes the light point appear almost suspended in the air, the company says.

“In the recessed ceiling version, A-Tube Nano allows you to direct the light beam as desired thanks to the joint angle of the lamp body, which allows you to easily move the thin aluminum structure up to 30° to direct the light on specific details or to emphasize the scenic effect of a composition with multiple elements,” the brand says.
The ceiling version of the fixture allows for the creation of lighting solutions that respond to specific design needs, such as lively rhythms ‒ obtained by using a single dimension in repetition and directing the light beams in different directions ‒ or more dynamic patterns ‒ obtained by alternating the different sizes ‒ perfect for illuminating halls or entrances to large public spaces.

“In the pendant version, A-Tube Nano can be used individually to illuminate a romantic table for two or medium-sized coffee tables in a bistro,” the brand says. “When combined, it allows for freely combining finishes and lengths, even alternating the two versions to create evocative and personalized lighting solutions that can define the atmosphere of any space, from a designer restaurant to the living area of a contemporary home, from an airport lounge to a hotel lobby.”
Designed by Studio Italia Design for Lodes, A-Tube Nano comes in three lengths–small, medium and large–and six finishes that includes matte black, chrome, champagne, gold, rose gold and terra.
