Online tile retailer Tile Club has introduced a new textured ceramic tile collection that reinterprets the traditional subway format.
The Brio 3D Ceramic Subway line combines “clean lines and a playful spirit,” drawing inspiration from mid-century modern design. Tile Club says the collection creates a sculptural interplay of light and shadow through its “Hill and Dale” convex and concave textures, with two contrasting tile options: Dot and Dash.
“Brio completely reimagines a familiar format in a way that feels fresh, unexpected and full of personality,” said Fatima Mazanova, CEO of Tile Club. “The dimensional shapes and playful colors subtly recall the fun of building with toy bricks, making it easy for homeowners and designers to get creative and rethink how tile can transform their space.”

The European-crafted 4-inch by 16-inch tiles feature a multi-textured surface with maximum relief depth and dimension that contrasts smooth matte and textured gloss within the same tile. Derived from the Spanish word brío, meaning liveliness and energy, the collection embraces a sense of joyful creativity, the brand says.
Tile Club explains that as layered, bold design continues to rise in popularity, Brio offers a fresh way to experiment with texture, clean lines and color. The subway tiles are designed to mix and match or make a statement on their own. They can be specified in residential and commercial interior spaces.
Brio tiles can be used on their own or paired together. The line is available in two dimensional shapes, each with three unique colorways:

Dot: A concave oval that dips inward, bringing a subtle sense of movement and perfect for color blocking. Available in blue, sage and white.
Dash: A raised capsule that pops outward, adding visual depth and a more pronounced textural statement. Available in white and navy, navy and white and white and sage.
The company says Brio establishes the brand as a premier destination for distinctive tile designs that seamlessly complement any aesthetic. Based in California, the online retailer says it offers one of the largest and most distinctive in-stock selections in the United States–from budget-friendly essentials to luxury materials–with most orders shipping within 24 business hours from strategically located warehouses.
