Italian lighting brand Bronzetto looked to the tradition of gardens in its own country to produce its latest Eden collection of outdoor lamps.
The company says the collection draws inspiration from the Italian Garden that dates back to Roman times and in particular the Renaissance, when it was conceived as a place of pleasure and regeneration inspired by the classic ideals of order and beauty.
Bronzetto explains that the new line was born as a tailor-made project developed ad hoc to enrich the Italian garden that surrounds the Hotel Passalaqua on Lake Como, a boutique hotel that overlooks the water of the Lario.

Part of the Traforo line, all of the lamps feature a textural and unique finish, which is burnished brass. “Eden is divided into a series of special products such as floor and wall lanterns, suspensions, streetlamps and step markers,” the company says. “Many models are enriched with a perforated design that contributes to the diffusion of a very soft and welcoming light, ideal for creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Their aesthetics discreetly but clearly evoke distant Arabian and Moroccan atmospheres.”
Each Eden Traforo outdoor lamp has been made using a complex technique of laser cutting on a sphere or cylinder, depending on whether it was the pendant chandelier or the wall or floor lamps. Laser cutting the brass ensures optimal results, following the design specifications with the utmost precision, the company says. “Brass in fact, compared to other materials, has higher values of hardness, fusibility and resilience and is therefore particularly suitable for the most daring applications in design,” Bronzetto continues.

The company says the Eden exterior lighting is ideal for courtyards, gardens and terraces to enhance those spaces with illumination as well as with vibes. From the industrial lines of burnished iron to more classic ones with feet and ornamental applications, the lanterns have different degrees of resistance to external agents depending on their location and are transportable, which allows you to create new light sets anytime.
The lanterns, on the other hand, are suitable for courtyards or gardens and allow you to create a design of light even outdoors. Alongside rattan or iron couch and armchair or as pathways, the lanterns perform the dual function of welcoming and at the same time enrich the outdoor lighting. Its shatter-proof glasses are resistant to shocks and jumps in temperature while its four spherical feet lift it off the ground.
