Lighting technology company Juniper has launched an innovative new “outlet system that redefines the look and function of power access for interior spaces,” the brand says.
Ground Control is a series of surface-mounted power accessories and dimmers. The units are inspired by mid-century mission control centers and are made of solid brass, offering both a retro aesthetic and modern design sensibility. Now the company has expanded the collection.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Ground Control Hardwired system, a product that embodies our commitment to innovation and quality,” says Tom Simon, director of design and product development. “This new addition to our lineup not only offers a unique round design and elevated finishes but also provides unparalleled flexibility in installation and powerful 65W charging capacity.”

Expanding upon the brand’s premium office power receptacles, the new line introduces hardwired formats for in-wall solutions, offering flexibility for a wide range of residential, commercial and hospitality applications. The products are made in the company’s Southington, Conn., factory.
The Ground Control hardwired system delivers a custom power solution that doesn’t compromise on design or performance, the company says. Pieces feature tamper-resistant NEMA 5-15 receptacles and powerful 65W USB-C chargers available in single, double and triple gang setups; USB charging ports and low-voltage dimmer knobs; and a flexible installation experience design for drywall, panel and tile surfaces.

Ground Control is available in matte white, matte black, satin brass, satin nickel, black oxide, and English bronze, as well as custom digital color matching options. The collection is available to trade for preorder starting in May and will be available to purchase this fall.
