Luxury faucets and fittings manufacturer Watermark Designs has introduced a new collection called Dualis, which pairs simple brass forms with handle inlays in metal or natural marble. The material options allow designers to connect the fittings to stone and metal finishes used elsewhere in the bathroom.
“Each marble inlay is cut from natural stone, so veining and coloration vary from piece to piece,” the brand says. “For all-metal configurations, the inlay can match the fitting finish or use a contrasting metal finish for a two-tone combination.”
Consisting of 17 styles across basin, bath, bidet and shower fittings, the products are made from solid brass and allow Carrara, Calacatta and Marrone marble inlays, as well as metal in 26 standard finish options.

“Carrara and Calacatta were chosen because they are among the marbles most often specified in high-end bathrooms,” the company says. “Their lighter, neutral coloring pairs easily with other white and gray stones, while Calacatta’s warmer veining also works with gold tones. Marrone, the darkest of the three options, includes brown and charcoal tones that coordinate with darker stones and finishes.”

Watermark explains that function shaped the collection in a big way, so the bodies are larger than many of the brand’s other designs, and the spouts extend further forward over the basin to bring the water stream farther into the sink.

“The assortment was kept deliberately limited rather than building the collection around dozens of variations,” Watermark says. “Dualis has three handle profiles that carry across basin, bath, bidet and shower fittings. The Clover Knob has a quatrefoil silhouette inspired by fine jewelry. The Linear Lever repeats the shape of the spout, while the smaller Linear Knob is used for thermostatic and diverter controls.”
The collection includes one-hole and three-hole deck-mount lavatory faucets, a three-hole wall-mount lavatory set, a bidet faucet, a five-hole deck-mount bath set, a bath set with hand shower, a wall-mount bath spout, thermostatic and wall-mount shower trims and a hand shower with wall elbow.
Watermark manufactures the products in its Brooklyn, N.Y., factory where artisans, engineers, and designers work together to bring each collection into production.
