Carpet, by Italian brand Antoniolupi Design, is a new washbasin top with integrated sink, designed exclusively for the brand’s Nemesis collection. The design solution expands the compositional possibilities of this bathroom furniture system, the company says.

Designed by Artemadesign, the project combines formal essentiality, technological innovation and installation flexibility. “This washbasin introduces an evolved concept of a reversible integrated basin,” Antoniolupi says. “The washbasin can be installed either centrally or offset on the Nemesis cabinet, naturally adapting to different design layouts and allowing advanced customization of the bathroom space.”

One of the system’s distinctive features is the freedom of choice during installation: the basin configuration does not need to be defined at the time of order but can be decided directly on site, the company says. The tap can be positioned on the right or left side of the basin, regardless of the washbasin orientation, further expanding both compositional and functional possibilities. Wall-mounted tap installation is also possible.

Measuring 44 centimeters in diameter, 72 centimeters long and 2 centimeters tall, Carpet is available in Flumood and Colormood–exclusive Antoniolupi materials offered in a wide range of colors and finishes. “The surfaces are compact, silky to the touch, visually deep and high-performance in terms of durability, hygiene and long-term resistance,” the brand notes.

The brand adds, “With this project, antoniolupi further advances its research into integrated bathroom tops and monolithic solutions, presenting a piece that blends minimalist aesthetics, manufacturing innovation, and design freedom.”
