San Francisco-based Pablo says its new Stella pendant light is a dynamic unit that can be effortlessly expanded to a wide range of sizes from 10 inches to 59 inches in diameter depending on user needs.
Made up of multiple interwoven aluminum arm segments with strategically placed pivot joints, the fixture transforms from inward facing illumination to downward facing direct lighting when expanded outward, the company says.
“Crafted for both function and form, the dynamic silhouette adapts to your space — whether fully extended for maximum impact or drawn in for a more compact, ambient presence,” the company explains.

Though aluminum strips are connected to form the light, all mechanical fasteners are discreetly concealed within the interior surfaces, creating a clean uninterrupted silhouette from every angle. “The result is a seamless architectural form that feels both futuristic and timeless in its elegance,” the company says.
Available in two matte-painted finishes–graphite and sand–it has a steel canopy, polycarbonate diffuser and an LED that will provide 50,000 hours of life.
“Its playful and highly interactive design invites a new kind of relationship with the light source,” the brand says. “Ideally suited over table surfaces, entryway foyers, or in expansive chandelier groupings.”
Pablo was founded in San Francisco in 1993 by Venezuelan-born industrial designer Pablo Pardo. Embracing a less-is-more ideology, the brand says it frequently challenges traditional design metaphors, developing more practical solutions distilled down to their essence, form and light.
