American-made lighting brand, Cerno Lighting, has introduced a new linear pendant, Catalina, that is handcrafted in-house by the company’s team of skilled woodworkers. “When handling this fixture, it’s evident that the Catalina was thoughtfully designed and built with integrity,” the company says.
Like the company’s other architectural lighting solutions, Catalina draws on Cerno’s commitment to America-made products, the company says. “The real magic happens when you turn it on,” the company adds. “The quality and amount of light emitted from this fixture make it suited for any environment.”

Catalina is inspired by Catalina Island, the mountainous island off the Southern California coast, where as kids, Cerno’s founders frequently explored. Available in three standard sizes, including 46, 70 and 94 inches, the fixture is made from natural wood and metal, with optional direct and indirect illumination. In addition to different color temperatures, the fixture is available in warm dim and tunable white.
It’s available as a Straight Cable Split Canopy or Straight Cable Linear Canopy. The company says the design feels at home in a residence, a hotel or a commercial space.
Cerno is known for decorative and architectural lighting featuring hardwood–walnut, maple and oak are staples–brass, brushed aluminum, linen and glass. A few years ago, Cerno added its footprint with the acquisition of Siemon & Salazar, a brand that produces hand-blown glass lighting and vessels in Southern California.
