Danish lighting brand Louis Poulsen has announced the introduction of new launches for fall 2025, including a portable version of its Panthella 250 and the reissue of the FJ Elements by Danish designer Finn Juhl.
Initially designed in 1963, the FJ Elements series features a minimalist shade that can be rotated and tilted to direct the light, creating an artful approach for shaping light, Poulsen says.
“The name FJ Elements is inspired by the original hand-drawn sketches in which Finn Juhl depicted the lamp as being composed of distinct elements,” Louis Poulsen adds. “These early drawings illustrate the form, proportions and concept for a complete lamp series, emphasizing its overall construction. The centerpiece of the series is the pendant. However, by incorporating what Juhl referred to as ‘a linking element,’ he was able to adapt the initial design into a table lamp as well.”
FJ is available as a pendant and table lamp in three matte finishes: white, grey and black. The pendant ($535) and table lamp ($595) are now available in select stores and online at louispoulsen.com.

“Designed in 1971, Panthella stands out as one of Verner Panton’s design icons with its unique expression where both the stand and the shade served as a reflector, thanks to the organic shapes that are characteristic of the Danish designer,” the company says.
The Panthella 250 Portable Lamp is a downscaled edition of Panton’s Panthella 400 table lamp, making it easy for users to place it on windowsills, shelves or tables. Regardless of which colour or material you choose, the Panthella 250 Portable Lamp will provide exceptional light to all surroundings.

Available in 11 colors, the compact, cordless table lamp emits a glare-free, soft, and comfortable light, Poulsen says. “The opaque shade variants reflect the light downwards and provide pleasant illumination created by the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem,” the company adds. “The opal variants provide gentle illumination and subtle ambience due to the transparency and the reflection of the downward light on the inner side of the shade.”
Priced from $460 to $630, the Panthella 250 Portable is available in select stores and online at louispoulsen.com
