Hip Danish brand Vipp has introduced a new modular cabinet and storage system that is a fine complement to its V3 kitchen system.
The 675 Cabinet System “brings together oak, marble and anodized aluminum in a new modular cabinet and storage system,” the company says. “Nine types of modular units can be arranged in endless configurations allowing for bespoke storage solutions.”

The system allows homeowners to show off their possessions in open shelves or hide them behind a reeded aluminum door. Whether opting for a uniform aesthetic with repetition of similar cabinets or highlighting design asymmetry through a combination of open and closed shelves, the cabinet can either be wall-mounted or floor standing resting on spindly aluminum legs.

The 675 offers a variety of options, including nine cabinets, two heights, two color combinations–dark or light oak–marble tops and reeded doors. Cabinet doors are made in anodized aluminum with vertically extruded profiles and in dark brown or natural aluminum color. Its “versatile design makes it ideal for an array of storage and display needs, fitting into both private and workplace settings,” the company says.
Founded in 1939, the brand is known for iconic pieces, like the $1,200 trash can that is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York or the original V1 kitchen system. Its history of producing cutting-edge, high design pieces are popular with modern architects and designers.
