BSH Opens New Experience and Design Center in DC

BSH, the home appliances division of the Bosch Group, has opened its newest Experience & Design Center in Washington, CityCenterDC, a pedestrian-friendly luxury mixed-use development in the city.

The immersive, 7,000-square-foot showroom invites architects, designers, builders and consumers to discover BSH’s premium home appliance brands – Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau – within a cutting- edge space designed to inspire. BSH says the new showroom will serve as the center of luxury kitchen design in the nation’s capital.

“We are thrilled to welcome the BSH Experience & Design Center to CityCenterDC,” said Timothy Lowery, managing director of retail and mixed-use at Hines, co-developer of the project. “This innovative and immersive space perfectly complements our vision of bringing world-class experiences to the heart of Washington, D.C. BSH’s dedication to cutting-edge design and exceptional quality aligns seamlessly with the retail and lifestyle we cultivate at CityCenterDC. With a prime central location within CityCenterDC, the space is also the only luxury home appliance presence within the city limits, BSH says. The space is also designed to bring the company’s three North America-focused brands and their designs into the spotlight for a truly international audience.

“We’re thrilled to be opening our EDC in the heart of the nation’s capital – just steps to the White House, surrounded by other luxury brands and in the region’s premier retail hub at CityCenterDC,” said Chris Kaeser, head of sales at BSH. “What makes this location so special is that we’re projecting legendary global design and quality from our Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau brands for a wide range of people – with visitors from all over the world also arriving at all times of the year. We’re aiming to be a destination that customers, consumers and traveling diplomats all seek out for inspiration.”

With a stunning blend of neoclassical touches – inspired by the city’s famous architecture – and modern interior design, the showroom will be the new one-stop hub for architects, builders, designers, contractors and consumers to experience BSH brands and products through interactive displays, live demonstrations and personalized design consultations.

The new showroom is one of 10 Experience and Design Centers across North America. It operates centers in Irvine, Calif., Chicago, New York City, Miami, Houston and Beverly Hills as well as in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
