Spanish tile brand WOW Design has debuted a new collection that draws inspiration from textures of the skin–down to the same natural micro-reliefs.
“With Skin, WOW Design redefines the concept of ceramics, elevating it to an artistic realm where touch and sight intertwine, filling spaces with personality and humanity,” the company says. “Once again, WOW ceramics offer an experience that connects with the senses and emotions.”
The white-body tiles in the collection replicate fine details that have the appearance of pores on the skin. WOW says it was able to accomplish this through micro-finishes and innovative technology.
“Skin explores the textures, reliefs, and imperfections of the skin, transforming them into artistic elements that evoke emotions and tell stories through ceramics,” WOW says. “Each piece represents not just a design object but a sensory experience that connects the viewer to the delicacy of our skin.”

The company says the collection stands out for its meticulous attention to detail. Innovative glazes, precise micro-finishes, and delicate textures come together to create pieces that seem to breathe. It is a perfect fusion of ceramics and skin, where craftsmanship and technology converge to introduce a new dimension in ceramic design.
The collection comes in seven shades ranging from whites to earthy tones and greens, and in matte and glazed finishes that can be combined to create diverse and balanced compositions, allowing for the creation of patterns of light and shadow. Tiles measure 1.6 inches by 5 inches.
