California Faucets has updated its Descanso Series of faucets with the addition of teak wood handles and detailing for a touch of warmth and texture.
“Teak it up a notch! With teak wood, Descanso’s ‘industrial chic’ look gets a touch of love from Mother Nature,” says Noah Taft, the company’s chief marketing officer. “Teak’s toasty brown hue enriches the kitchen or bath and pairs beautifully with any of our artisan finishes.”
Made from solid brass, the Descanso line features industrial-style detailing and comes in a wide variety of configurations for kitchen and bath. Now the brand has added teak wood options to soften the line and to provide contrast with the 25-plus finishes the company offers.

Why teak? The company says it’s because teal is one of the most durable woods, is long-lasting and is easy to maintain. Plus, the wood is naturally water resistant with the ability to withstand decay and warping. “Commonly used for boat decks and outdoor patio furniture, teak stands up to wet environments, making it a great option for use in the kitchen or bathroom,” the company explains. The introduction of teak wood further emphasizes California Faucets’ commitment to quality and craftsmanship while embracing the beauty of natural materials, the company adds.
Made from solid brass, Descanso is available in a variety of configurations, including bridge-style kitchen faucets and pot fillers, shower and tub components, roman tub sets, handshower diverters, and bidet sets. It also comes with a number of coordinating accessories to carry the look throughout the home, such as towel bars, soap dispensers and appliance pulls.
Pricing for the Descanso kitchen faucet with squeeze or button sprayer starts at $1,665 for polished chrome, and the 8-inch bath faucet with quad is priced from $901 for polished chrome.
