Tuscany-based luxury bath brand Antonio Lupi has introduced a minimalist freestanding shower head that can be used inside the home or for a garden shower, outdoor bathroom or poolside wash down.
“A sleek, essential shape that embodies simplicity and immediately evokes the theme of water and its controlled flow,” the 75-year old company says. “Tubo, true to its name, is the innovative collection of wall-mounted and freestanding showerheads designed to channel the revitalizing power of water, transforming it into a unique relaxation experience.”
Designed by AL Studio–the company’s in-house research center and design factory composed of designers, architects and industry experts–Tubo is made from 316L stainless steel, which means it can withstand the harsh conditions outdoors and deliver durability and high performance during daily use inside the home. The collection’s standout feature, the company explains, is the 32-millimeter spout, which is designed to deliver a fuller, more invigorating water jet than smaller design. Additionally, the minimalist design means that the product “harmonizes effortlessly with architectural elements and natural surroundings,” the company says.
Tubo comes in two versions to fit any space: a wall-mounted version that can be secured at two points on the vertical surface with an external wall control for water flow management; or a freestanding version that is anchored to the floor and comes with an integrated progressive mixer.
“The minimalist and precise design of Tubo harmonizes effortlessly with architectural elements and natural surroundings, offering an open-air relaxation experience where form meets function,” the company says.
