The ultra-hip Danish brand Vipp has once again expanded its kitchen cabinet system with the addition of the V2, a freestanding kitchen that pairs warm oak with anodized aluminum. “With its slender silhouette and refined material palette, the V2 introduces a softened materiality to the industrial design language that has shaped Vipp for more than eight decades,” the company says.
Much like a piece of furniture, the V2 is designed to be viewed from every angle, ideal for modern homes where the kitchen often takes center stage. Inspired by the material clarity of the Vipp Cabinet system, the V2 brings the same balance of warmth, precise manufacturing and bold design.

The system consists of a powder-coated steel frame that rests on slender legs and carries oak or extruded aluminum fronts, topped with a stainless steel countertop. Aluminum fronts add a clean vertical rhythm with repeated lines and a push-click opening, while oak fronts feature rounded profiles with reeded detailing that serve as integrated grips. The company says a carefully composed interplay of oak, anodized aluminum and stainless steel defines the V2 line.
“We wanted the V2 to feel unmistakably Vipp, yet offer a new warmth in both touch and tone,” says Kasper Egelund, CEO and third generation Vipp-owner. “It is a natural progression in our kitchen family – familiar in construction, but distinctly different in expression.“
Oak, the company states, signifies a new material direction for Vipp kitchens. The signature use of stainless steel and extruded aluminum is recognizable from both architectural projects and product designs, and they ensure lasting durability.

“The kitchen is completed with a 20-millimeter stainless steel worktop folded from a single sheet with squared corners, precise welds and a seamless transition between countertop and integrated sink,” Vipp says. “Soft silicone inserts inside the cabinets and a practical yet elegant Vipp tap complete the kitchen.”
V2 is available in a light palette, combining light oak veneer with natural anodized aluminum, or in a dark version featuring dark oak veneer and dark anodized aluminum. “Available as a narrow island, full island or wall configuration, its modular design and light expression make it easy to integrate across interiors, whether standing alone or paired with Vipp Cabinet system for a coherent kitchen-living universe.
The V2 kitchen is available from January 2026. With the launch of V2, Vipp’s kitchen family now comprises four models.
Vipp is a 3rd generation family owned Danish company founded by metalsmith Holger Nielsen in the small town of Randers, Denmark in 1939.
