
The year is almost over, but manufacturers are still unveiling new products on a weekly basis. We know this because we have seen an increase in press releases in the last few weeks.
As we are wont to do, we combed through our emails as well as those of our contributing writers to generate a list of everything we’ve gotten in the past three weeks. We then whittled down that long list to the ones we like the most and the ones that will likely resonate with architects, designers, contractors and, ultimately, consumers.

Kool Max washbasin, Glass Design
The brand has used Calacatta Viola marble to create a series of bath washbasins. Extracted from marble quarries of Versilia, Tuscany, this unique material combines the purity of crystalline white with the vibrant violet hues, creating contrasts of exceptional intensity and a charm. The Kool Max (shown) is characterized by an inclined cut and an embracing profile, which make it an elegant and versatile piece of furniture, the company says. It measures 550 millimeters by 400 millimeters.

Pre-Finished Acre Wood Alternative, Modern Mill
Wood alternative Acre is now available pre-finished with the company’s proprietary Signature Stain Collection, developed in partnership with PPG. Customers can choose from seven signature stains: biloxi, amory, walnut, ACRE black, laurel, Montauk gray and mahogany. With these new pre-finished options, builders and installers can save time on site, extend the building season by eliminating weather-dependent field finishing, and enjoy a uniform, ready-to-install product, the company says. Acre is made from upcycled rice hulls and accepts stains and paints without primer.

Eco-Drinking Tap Water 29, Cea
The single-hole tap offers filtered still/chilled sparkling and boiling water, and offers a swiveling spout measuring 460 millimeters tall. Made from stainless steel, it’s available in a satin or polished as specialty finishes, such as light gold and copper. The unit has to be connected to the WTC02 water microfiltration system.

Beosound Premiere soundbar, Bang & Olufsen
The brand says the Beosound Premiere is a statement soundbar that provides an artfully crafted three-dimensional spatial audio experience. Engineered for fidelity and featuring the brand’s new Wide Stage Technology, the unity is made from aluminum, with celebrated rather than concealed speakers. It’s priced at $5,800 and comes with a variety of interchangeable fabric and wooden covers in oak and dark oak.

Side Mount Garage Door Opener, Skylink Technologies
The manufacturer says this is the world’s smallest side-mount garage door opener on the market. Engineered for performance and designed for convenience, the unit delivers quiet power and smart connectivity without sacrificing valuable ceiling room, the company says. It uses a DC motor that offers soft start and stop technology and built-in LED lighting to illuminate the garage without additional fixtures. With Wi-Fi connectivity and compatibility with Amazon Alexa, homeowners can open, close and monitor their garage door from anywhere using the Orbit app.



Nabatei Console, Antoniolupi
The Italian brand has expanded its Nabatei collection with a new console basin. Reflecting the company’s ongoing research into the lightness of matter, the marble or stone surface appears suspended in space. Each piece is unique, sculpted from solid marble that was precisely carved to accommodate the basin and storage compartments. “Basins of different shapes and sizes emerge from a language of orthogonal geometries and slender thicknesses, expressing a formal rigor that enhances the intrinsic beauty of the material,” the company says. The product is available in all the marbles and stones from the company’s collection.


JKZ Collection, Zazzeri
JKZ is the new collection of taps made of steel. Produced on Zazzeri’s 90th anniversary, the collection is capable of distinguishing the bathroom, the company says. The unit has graceful lines and an ergonomic capital shaped handle that makes it easy to operate. Customization options include a wide range of decorative inserts made of different materials and finishing for the tap handle and PVD finishes in carbon, anthracite, copper, cognac and white gold.

Onyx Barrel Pedestal, Stone Forest
Carved from multicolored onyx, the pedestal sink is a one-of-a-kind piece with swirling, natural variation. It measures 34 inches tall, 21 inches in diameter and weighs 650 pounds. Offering a polished finish, the unit glows and reveals hidden layers when it’s lit from within.

Touchless faucets, JEE-O
Part of the brand’s Slimeline Series, the brand’s latest launch is an electronic wall basin tap that responds to market demand, specifically from project developers and architects, JEE-O says. The unit has a 90-degree outlet and is water efficient and ideal for public spaces, powder rooms, hotels, office environments where hygiene is important but design is still important. It comes in brushed stainless steel, structured black, bronze and gold.


Solace vanity, Native Trails
The sustainable kitchen and bath brand has expanded its celebrated Solace vanity collection with two new sizes–36 inches for smaller spaces and 60 inches for primary bathrooms with more space. Made from solid oak in a transitional design, the unit features a handcrafted concrete top, full extension, soft-close drawer and a low-volatile organic compound finish that is water-resistant to protect the oak exterior from moisture damage. It’s available in midnight oak and sunrise oak.



Tulum faucet series, Duravit USA
Designed by Philippe Starck, the Tulum faucet line blends iconic style with understated elegance, the brand says. It offers a conical body, rectangular spout and AirPlus infused water for full-flow performance at 1.2 gallons per minute. The bathroom sink faucets are available in vessel and standard models, and in three finish options: chrome, matte black and brushed nickel. Every sink faucet comes with a matching brass drain assembly.
