
Preselection for the 2026 iF Design Awards takes place soon, so in anticipation of the event, we decided to look back at some of the 2025 product winners that caught our attention.
Founded in 1954, the iF Design Award is a prestigious global competition that awards outstanding design across nine disciplines and 93 categories, including products, interior architecture, technology and communication. It’s organized by the iF Design Foundation and considered one of the world’s largest design awards, attracting around 11,000 submissions annually from nearly 60 countries. The award is judged by more than 130 independent design and sustainability experts based on criteria including idea, form, function, differentiation and sustainability.
With the online preselection of the iF Design Awards 2026 taking place from December 1 to December 4, we wanted to rewind and look at some of the winners we love from the 2025 campaign.

Fòra indoor and outdoor washbasin by Samo
Fòra Basin for indoor and outdoor use is a new paradigm in bathroom decor. An accessorized basin formed of a single constituent element made out of recycled plastic. Outdoors, located close to a water point Fòra works simply by connecting it to a garden hose, whilst in public spaces it may be turned into a community hand hygiene hub.



Func washbasin mixer by AM.PM AG
The Func basin mixer combines a sleek appearance with exceptional functionality, making it a standout piece for any modern bathroom, the company says. Its bright geometric design and refined silhouette add a touch of elegance, while the minimalist handle is designed to fit in the palm of a user’s hand, ensuring effortless control and precise temperature adjustments. The ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip, allowing for smooth and easy operation with just a touch.



iSensi Monolith back-to-wall tub by HOESCH Design
The iSensi bathtub is made of bathroom-quality acrylic and offers a spacious comfort zone. This is provided for by the centrally positioned outlet in the oval basic shape. The positive properties of the highgrade cast acrylic material insulates heat extremely well and its surface is very smooth, pore-free and insensitive. This feels pleasantly warm and cosy, as well as being easier to look after, the brand says.



Ecostat Comfort by Hansgrohe

Beauphoria “Diamond” kitchen range by Poggenpohl
The Diamond kitchen model uses a geometric grid as a design principle, which quotes the 60×60 kitchen standard introduced by Poggenpohl in 1950. The grid lines, contrasting in material and color, run through the entire wall design of the shelves and cabinets, framing them and defining the proportions. For this premium kitchen-range, the designers wanted to break the mold of conventional kitchen cabinet-design by presenting a truly three-dimensional front reminiscent of the art of traditional cabinet-making.



Thorn Chandelier by QZENS Furniture & Design Co.
The company says Thorn’s main inspiration was the idea of reflecting light with forms that mimic nature and grow without size limits. Thorn eliminates dimensional and formal limits, allowing lighting installations of any size and shape. It harmonizes random installations with innovation. Inspired by biophilia, the unit displays the organic forms found in nature without disrupting their holistic structures.



C-67 bathroom collection by IB Rubinetterie
The C-67 collection, designed by architect Carlo Colombo, represents a human interpretation of faucet design, with distinctive details and unique aesthetics. The project focuses on a new formal approach, combining simplicity and elegance, while preserving the distinctive and iconic features of the faucet. Colombo emphasizes the visible detail at the top of the faucet, emphasizing the joint between the knob and the movable element that operates the water. This distinctive element has become the starting point for the entire collection.


Plissé Murano blown glass lamp by Vistosi
The Plissé collection exemplifies the ancient and rare Venetian art of mouth-blown glass. Offering the charm of a bygone era, it features sinuous lines and a play of materials. The blown glass diffuser conceals a fabric lampshade, creating refined plays of transparency. Each lamp is handcrafted by the brand’s in-house master glassmakers, including the metal parts and wiring. This ensures a product that is 100 percent Made in Italy.
