Fireplace manufacturer Ortal says it is elevating its product offerings with a bold new Oval unit that can be suspended from the ceiling or mounted on the wall.
Oval is a steel-sculpted unit offering a sleek curved design that transforms fireplaces into striking architectural focal points, the company says. Designed as a statement piece, the product is intended to reimagine traditional fireplace design with a modern twist, “offering a crafted aesthetic fused with cutting-edge performance.”
Offered in a 47-inch model, with additional sizes expected, Oval offers installation flexibility while delivering maximum versatility with seamless integration into contemporary residential, hospitality and commercial environments.

The Oval unit is powered by Ortal’s Direct Vent technology, a sealed system that ensures cleaner, safer and more efficient heating while maintaining indoor air quality. Additionally, Ortal’s advanced Power Vent system enables installation in previously restrictive areas by moving exhaust away from the fireplace for increased venting range. This creates more flexibility in the design placement process, the company says. The Oval fireplace also features Ortal’s smart Heat Control system, allowing heat to be transferred to different rooms for optimal comfort and efficiency.
