New York-based tile manufacturer and supplier Country Floors has introduced a new collection of terracotta tiles just in time for the summer.
The company says the Summer House collection is a timeless tile series that blends coastal nostalgia with contemporary craftsmanship. Designed in collaboration with interior designer Tamara Stephenson, Summer House pays homage to Long Island’s East End and the spirit of seaside living.

“Drawing from her signature @rootcellardesigns aesthetic, Stephenson infuses vintage Delft-inspired patterns with a fresh, modern sensibility,” Country Floors says. “ The collection is an ode to the blue-and-cream tiles historically tucked into fireplaces and antique homes — each piece sparking a quiet nostalgia and storytelling through design.”
Country Floors says Tamara tapped into her love for living by the sea as inspiration for the collection. “Many of the antique homes in the East End of Long Island where she lives showcase gorgeous Delft and other antique blue and cream tile in the fireplaces, the kitchens, bathrooms and walls,” the brand says. “These patterns seem to tell a rich story, and Tamara hopes to capture that essence while weaving her unique root cellar designs’ vision, a mix of old and new to bring to today’s home.”

The glazed red-body terracotta tiles measure 6 inches by 6 inches and feature hand drawings of Garden Topiary and designs reminiscent of French Country. Tile are available in five designs and three colorways: cadet, fern and biscuit. They can be used on backsplashes, shower floors, interior walls, shower walls, commercial interior walls and light-use residential floors.
“Inspired by days spent by the sea and the storied cottages of the East End, this collection evokes a unique charm — a conversation between past and present,” the brand says. “The tiles breathe new life into classic motifs and offer a versatile solution for modern interiors seeking warmth, soul and craftsmanship.”
Summer House is now available at Country Floors showrooms and online at www.countryfloors.com.
